About Our Program

RCIA—The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process that the Church invites you to take part in.  It takes place in our Parish on Sunday mornings.

Candidates for the RCIA process are as follows:

All unbaptized adults seeking full initiation through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Those baptized in Christian denominations, but not Catholic, who seek to come into full communion with the Catholic Church by making a Profession of Faith and receiving Confirmation and Eucharist.

Necessary Components for the RCIA Process

The catechumenate is a process leading to conversion and acceptance of the following the way of the Lord in one’s daily life.  The various components contribute toward the goals:

Formation in Sacred Scripture

Catechesis

Celebration of the various Rites throughout the process

Prayer with the parish community

Involvement in social and apostolic life of the parish

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA):

RCIA Classes for adults who have never been baptized, who have been baptized in another Christian tradition, or who have been baptized as Catholics but did not receive First Communion or Confirmation started on Sunday, September 20th at 10:00 am.  Classes will be held via ZOOM call until further notice.  If you are interested in attending these ZOOM classes, please contact the Parish Office or pick-up a brochure in the vestibule of the Church to obtain more info.
